Sports Illustrated Kids

Sports Illustrated Kids was looking to capitalize on their parent's brand popularity and draw traffic to their site. In dire need of a redesign, they turned to us to quickly deliver a content strategy and refreshed visual language.

Designing a responsive website for the tween demographic was challenging, and required that I constantly remind myself that I am not the user. Feel free to contact me if you'd like to hear more about how the team learned to think like a 13 year old.

What I learned:
This was the first project where I played a primary lead position, and it was definitely a growth experience. However, when I finally learned to own the plan and approach, I became a better consultant, leader, and designer.
